The Sunshine Mosque depends heavily on donations to cover expenses such as operational costs and much needed projects.

Operational costs include water and electricity bills, cleaning and maintenance.
The mosque is also required to undertake large projects from time to time, like the upgrade of the morgue, maintenance of the futsal field and children's playground. These facilities allow us to better serve our community, strengthening our bonds and creating safe spaces.
The mosque is a registered charity, and our financial statements are made public. They can be found easily on the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission website under "Cyprus Turkish Islamic Community of Victoria Incorporated"
